KTAD Series Desiccant Air Dryers

Kotech KTAD series externally heated purge desiccant air dryer uses desiccants (such as activated alumina, molecular sieves) to reduce the moisture content in compressed air. The desiccant air dryer contains two working towers filled with desiccant, alternately adsorbing water molecules and regenerating air to discharge water molecules in a cycle to achieve the drying effect. After the desiccant absorbs enough moisture, it is taken out of the dryer through the regenerated air flow. KTAD series desiccant air dryer can provide dry compressed air with a pressure dew point of -40℃- -70℃ to the user’s air equipment.

KTAD Series Externally Heated Purge Desiccant Compress Air Dryer

KTAD series externally heated purge desiccant air dryer can reduce the pressure dew point of compressed air to -40℃ – -70℃, and can reduce the regeneration gas volume to 4-6% through micro-heat regeneration technology, which is 30-40% lower than the heatless desiccant air dryer. The compressed air processing capacity range is 1.2-200Nm3/min, which is suitable for various fields and industrial occasions. Kotech’s extended cycle time design can significantly save up to 80% of energy for KTAD series desiccant air dryer, while greatly increasing its lifespan.

How do Rotary Screw Air Compressors Work？

Rotary screw air compressor working principle is :The spiral rotor groove is filled with gas as it passes through the suction port,when the rotor rotates, the rotor groove is closed by the wall of the casing, forming a compression chamber, when the rotor groove is closed, the lubricating oil is sprayed into the compression chamber to seal and cool. When the rotor rotates and compresses the oil-gas mixture, the volume of the compression chamber decreases and the oil-gas mixture is compressed towards the exhaust port. When the compression chamber reach to the exhaust port, the oil and gas mixture from the compressor discharge, complete a suction – compression – exhaust process.
